Medical disclaimer

Information here is general

The pages on this website describe conditions, symptoms and what a consultation may involve. They are written to help you decide whether to seek advice, and to know roughly what to expect when you do. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for being seen.

Symptoms described here can be caused by several different conditions, some common and some not. Two people with the same symptom often need entirely different investigations. Only a consultation that takes your history, examination and test results into account can determine what applies to you.

Do not delay care because of something you read here

Nothing on this website should be used to postpone seeing a doctor, to stop or change a prescribed medicine, or to decide against a treatment that has been recommended to you. If something you read raises a question about your current treatment, raise it with the doctor treating you.

Emergencies

This website, the appointment enquiry form and the clinic’s WhatsApp number are not substitute for medical care in case of emergencies.

No doctor–patient relationship is created online

Reading these pages, submitting the enquiry form or messaging the clinic does not by itself create a doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins at a consultation, whether at the clinic or as a scheduled teleconsultation.

What the clinic does and does not do

Consultations, examinations, follow-ups and treatment planning take place at Zenith Women's Clinic, and sample collection for laboratory tests is arranged here. Ultrasound and other imaging are carried out at partner diagnostic centres nearby. Surgery and delivery take place at partner hospitals, with Dr. Ghoniya performing the surgery herself. The clinic does not provide emergency care, inpatient admission or 24-hour cover.

No guaranteed outcomes

Medical treatment does not come with guarantees. This website deliberately avoids claims of cure, guaranteed results or painless treatment, because such claims cannot be made honestly. Outcomes vary between individuals, and possible outcomes for your situation are discussed with you at your consultation.
